View full detailsMaxim Tillers are known for their exceptional durability and performance. Designed for breaking new ground, cultivating garden beds, or aerating soil, these powerful tillers make tough jobs easier.
Each Maxim tiller is built with welded steel frames, cast-iron transmission housings, and hardened steel tines to endure daily wear and tear. Reinforced handles and solid steel drag stakes provide added durability for deep soil penetration and control.
Available with commercial-grade Honda® GX160, Briggs & Stratton® XR Series, or Kohler® 6.5HP engines, Maxim tillers offer torque-rich performance ideal for breaking virgin ground, clay-heavy soil, or dense root systems. Engine outputs range from 160cc to 205cc for consistent, stall-free tilling.
Equipped with adjustable tilling depth (up to 10"), ergonomically angled handlebars, and pneumatic turf tires for smooth maneuvering across uneven or muddy ground. Chain-driven tines reduce kickback while enhancing operator control.
Choose from front-tine, mid-tine, or rear-tine models with tilling widths from 14" to 26", depending on your project size and soil conditions. Optional drag kits and tine extensions are available for added flexibility.
Maxim Tillers are proudly manufactured by Maxim Manufacturing, an American company with over 50 years of experience in outdoor power equipment. Maxim Tillers are ideal for:
Home gardening and backyard projects
Landscaping projects and commercial applications
Preparing soil for planting and seeding
Breaking up compacted soil and aeration
Maxim Tillers are manufactured by Maxim Manufacturing, a U.S.-based company known for producing durable, commercial-grade outdoor power equipment. Their tillers are trusted by gardeners, landscapers, and professionals for reliability and long-lasting performance.
Yes, several tiller brands, including Maxim Tillers, are made in the USA. U.S.-manufactured tillers are valued for their high-quality materials, precise engineering, and strong customer support. Always check the product label or manufacturer site for specific origin details.
Counter-rotating tillers are often better for breaking compacted or clay-heavy soil, offering deeper penetration than standard forward-rotating models. However, they may be more aggressive, so the ideal choice depends on your soil condition and tilling purpose.
County Line tillers are produced in multiple locations, including both U.S.-based and international manufacturing facilities. To determine the exact origin of a specific model, check the product details or contact the retailer or manufacturer directly.
